Extremely powerful reciprocating saw. Easy to hold and use. Fantastic product does the job in seconds!
Great saw - fast, easy to use, long cable. Bought to cut up and remove old fitted wardrobes, made a job we thought would take hours take minutes. Big thanks to the York Clifton moor staff for advice to help me select this!
Good quality reciprocating saw with easy exchange of blades
Brilliant piece of kit, rather heavy but as usual a good solid, quality tool from DeWalt. Should last years
amazing went through old 40mm steel gas pipe like butter the 4 different blade angles of the head are very cleaver so you can get close up to an edge from any handed cutting possition i would highly recommend this piece of equipment, Yes it is a expensive saw but buy quality and buy once.
Unfortunately the tool wasn’t able to do what I wanted it to do, which was my fault. I will be keeping it because it will be very useful for a variety of jobs in the future. A powerful very useful addition to my tool collection.
Purchased the 1100w reciprocating saw to cut through a clay drainage pipe. Not sure it was just clay as it took over an hour to cut through even with the correct blade ! Found it difficult to keep pressure on the ON button while holding the saw and it is very heavy. Having said that, it is powerful. Not a saw for use in a confined/tight place I imagine but if it’s powerful enough to cut through THAT pipe it will cut through almost anything.
This always gets me out of trouble. Really easy to install blades. I’d definitely recommend.
Very nice tolls everything at your needs is here tolstatios
Great piece of kit, effortless cutting I won’t use a hand saw ever again. Blades do get blunt but it is easy to see this as cutting becomes slower almost instantly so you know when to change blades.
It was delivered on time it did all i asked of it and made the job easy a great piece of kit
Brilliant tool with the usual DeWalt quality. Wish I’d bought it sooner.
A nice chunky bit of kit, used on door frames and old iron pipework, went through like a hot knife through butter
Sturdy unit, overall length compact for similar tools. Generic Blades fit.
Actually it's not expensive so I thought might be rubbish ' turned out it's very good provided you buy decent blades I use bosch ones
Great DeWalt tool. Quality I would expect. Minimal vibration and is easy to control.
This is my second reciprocating saw, with the first one (another make), having lasted for hundreds hours before giving up the ghost. The dewalt is a slightly stronger machine, but even the small power increase is noticeable. Blades can be inserted either facing down or up, meaning that it’s that little bit easier to get to the hard to reach places.
There is no trigger lock on the saw, and the trigger isn’t the easiest to keep hold of when wearing thick gloves, which you probably will be wearing if you’re using this for demolition work. On the positive side, no trigger lock is likely safer in some situations.
All in all a great tool.
Great saw plenty of cutting power used it on steel posts cut them without any issues
Great machine not to heavy and plenty of torque well worth the price which wasn’t bad
Excellent machine worked really well for cutting through large timbers.
