Brilliant piece of equipment, makes jobs so much easier and quicker! Time is money an this will definitely save you some dough. Took a little getting used to but soon become easy.

I bought this item almost a year to the day, I must have used it approximately 10 times and now the corse alloy threat has jammed together in more than one section and could not be undone by hand, consequently the thread has sheared off leaving me with a expensive poor quality tool that you would not expect from a brand name like Dewalt, I returned the pile to my local store and was told it only had a 6 month warranty. I have read other reviews since stating the same issues, stay well away from this valuable mistake as it will end in money down the drain. If I recommend this product to a friend I don’t think we would be friends for much longer.

Broke on the 3rd use. The sections of pole ended up locked together. A very bad design using aluminium threads. Toolstation were excellent and sorted me a refund straight away and I upgraded to the Bosch one which while spenny Is solid.

Poor quality for the price. very disappointing product all the threads chewed up

Amazing product. Had other poles in the past which were ok but this is definitely a far better product.

Well made and engineered pole, with easy assembly. Needed a few moments to get the fixing/wedging arrangements right, but once done is excellent for hands free work.

Great bit of kit !! Well built and sturdy .lets you line from floor to ceiling with adjustment where theres no metal studwork to use the magnet bracket on

This is a laser pole does exactly what its meant to do!! However after reading reviews they were completely correct in saying when dismantling pole it does seize which i found out on first use, please advise do lubricate the threads in each section and be careful when dismantling pole. If locks up spray wd40 or equivalent down inside the pole and carefully work it free . Come on Dewalt expect better for the price!!..

Bought the first one and after 3 months the threads, on two sections, had locked together. Not cross threaded! Screwed together fine, on dismantling the first thread opened 1/4 turn and jammed, the second managed a full turn then that jammed. Couldn’t release or tighten back. Spoke with the call centre, who were great and advised I return for an exchange, which I did.
Now on to my 2nd and cautiously using it with the hope the thing doesn’t lock threads again!
Seen other reviews saying the same thing.
Dewalt need to make some improvements with this.
First is steel treads, not aluminium,
Second is the 1/4 turn spring loaded bottom section! Why??
Why not a trigger clamp ??? Would be much easier to set in place, and release.
It does the job, don’t get me wrong! It could do it much better though, with improvements!

I did some research and bought this, but on the first day of use, one of the screws broke and got stuck and I couldn't get it open at all. Yesterday, the second screw broke too.

I needed a decent laser pole, saw this dewalt one. I thought its expensive but it should be good. Second time of use and the threads lock up. Just in the process of trying to get a refund but thats a nightmare too!

My last review was less than flattering about Toolstation but this time it's not Toolstation who have been exemplary in their service. The pole arrived by courier and looked the business. So I was looking forward to using it. However on its first outing it went together nice and easy and did it's job until I came to take it apart. The small top section started to unscrew then froze and just would not move any more. Despite many people on site having a go to free it it never moved at all. So I returned it to store and no quibble sent for a straight replacement, that's the service I mentioned earlier. My theory is that the pole has too many sections and when put under pressure at a slight angle either jams the thread or ends it slightly all of which is a DeWalt problem not Toolstation but perhaps this issue which is mentioned in other posts should be bought to DeWalt's notice. I'll see how the replacement performs.

Easy to use and perfect for setting out with a laser

A simple brilliant well made piece of kit from Dewalt. Perfect for any layout job particularly when you are working around multiple walls etc. Due to the small profile, it takes up less space than a tripod. Spring foot control allows it to be repositioned easily. Particularly good when working in tight or small spaces. Ordered on line which should have been a next day delivery, but the talented team at Evri managed to turn that into a nightmare, and the item has yet to be delivered. However a quick call to online team, ensured another was despatched & received the following day which was impressive.

Needed this so many times and did a work around instead, which I never was satisfied with. Such a pain. This is amazing piece of kit.

Very good pole sturdy and another great price from tool station

Easy to set up, slightly awkward to tighten in place while looking at the bubble & with your foot on the spring peddle. But you soon get used to it, very easy to move once set, put foot on the peddle, tilt pole, then move to new position, foot on peddle check level and release peddle, it is then in place.
