Hi really happy with the tool. Not so happy with your service. Ordered on Thursday for pick up Friday only to find it had not been sent. Had to cancel work Saturday as the reason for ordering was the site I was hoping to work on had no power. Had to cancel Saturday and Monday costing me 2 days and delaying future work. So in all £289: for the tool loss of earnings £400 how do you think I feel
Great product the kit comes with a lot of items can be used as a palm router also variable speed only thing I would moan about is the bit size is 8mm shank and most are 12mm so your limited to bits you can buy other than online or DeWalt but Toolstation literally sell 1 bit that fits it
Brilliant wee router, use it for trims, biscuits and worktop finishing, can't fault it, plenty of power and smooth operation.

I’d been wanting a trim router for a while to do more intricate work on smaller projects. Already having the batteries made sense to go for the Dewalt and I’m not disappointed. A great, versatile product and incredibly useful for all manner of jobs. Some reviews claim it to be top heavy for a trim router but this was not my experience. Highly recommended.
Never had one before, so I am still getting used to it. Great for hinge mortising. Batteries need to be fully charged, as the router stalls easily if the available power is lacking. I have not used the plunge mechanism yet.
Bought to route some window frames and a door structure. Do not be too ambitious - several small and shallow cuts and it's fine - too deep and wide and it plays up - even shooting the bit out!
Usefull little thing for small jobs. By far not as powerful as a wired router. Would not plough through kitchen worktop but gooc for detailing hinges, etc. Comes with vox and some accessories.

Excellent tool - still learning to use it but it is so versatile and easy to use. I have a larger corded router but as it is so big and bulky I tend to not use it. With this Dewalt one it is so quick and easy to use - and no cord - that I can see every single thing being smoothed off. Already used it to round off the long cut edge of a deck to great effect!!

Powerful router even on hard woods like oak stands up very well to daily use, I like the fine adjustment on the palm base and the plunge base is just as good with the fine adjustment on the depth stop, Dust extraction for both bases is also very good compared to other brands! Great edition to anyone’s tool kit👍🏻
Needed to route various profiles into a 4m length of white oak to cover a lintel that will carry a double barn door track and doors. If needed to match the doors, architrave and skirting. Bought this kit plus a couple of router bits. Altogether just shy of £300. A couple of days later, allowing for planning my process and practicing on pieces of scrap to get a feel of the machine and the measurements of the guides/sole plates etc and I am over the moon with the results.
As with all DeWalt tools this is perfectly designed. Cordless, ergonomic, not heavy, easy to adjust and use, excellent build quality and all in a solid T-Stak case.
Only two slight negative thoughts on it. First, it’s very pricey, which could be forgiven if it came with batteries, but it doesn’t, it’s just the bare machine. Second, the insert inside the T-Stak case is almost useless. The compartments don’t fit the machine unless you take off the dust extractor, the parallel guides etc. The case itself is great, just not the insert. It would have been better with the dense foam inserts that come with other DeWalt T-Stak cases.
After this I’ll be looking for other jobs that I can use it for…I’ve got the routing bug!
Only used to bull nose 30mm window boards but really smooth great bit of kit. Looking forward to getting to know it better.
