I bought this for work to make removing and fitting shotblaster hoses less tiring. I have to say works really well for me, used it with 1/4inch sockets too, great hear too on impact setting.
Good quality, small, powerful and light with great battery life
Good impact driver but not sure how they measure the power of it. On max setting it couldn't remove wheelnuts torqued to 130Nm. Fine for large screws and 5Ah battery lasts ages
Had to buy another one after last one packed up 3 half years so just out of warranty was good other than that
My first impact driver after owning several combi drills. I can't believe it has taken me so long to buy one. Usual Dewalt quailty and used with a Powerstack battery lasts a long long time.

Very affordable and reliable, have had no issues at all with this impact driver, has got me out of some tight spots at work, versatile and up to task.
As an engineer who rarely has a drill out of my hand, I can give the DCF887 a glowing review. I would recommend at least 4ah batteries though, to give enough time to complete all tasks. I’ve used lots of different manufacturers models but this one and Milwaukee stand out. It's quite compact for tight drilling, which is a bonus.
