The festoon lights provide an excellent amount of illumination and they are supplied with a generous amount of flex to the power source. The only negative is the plastic cages that may not withstand an impact.
I installed these in a spiral staircase of a church tower. It has provided light to enable repairs. Considering you get 10 LED bulbs, over 22m of cable and shields it is good value for money & does the job. I would advise purchasing an extension lead so the transformer can be at least 10m away.

The protective cages for the lamps are incredibly poor , several broke when fitting them
Good lights with bright bulbs. Cafes are a bit flimsy and easy to snap but not a big problem
Really bright and work well. Protective cages are poorly made from plastic and snap when fitting. Two were broken before we had even taken them out of the box. More for show than anything else. TIP: Have a few cable ties to hand to secure them.
