The latch would not work on this item, either locked up or far too stiff to operate, so ordered another and - the same thing happened. Must b some batch fault.

Good piece of kit, like the colour. Would be 5 stars if a choice of brass/silver front plate was included.
Poor quality design jammed after less than 2 years. Had to bash it off the door to get in.
Put this on my garage access door. As good as premium in this application would not use on house. Not secure enough!
What a disappointment! It was supposed to be a deadlocking Nightlatch, but would not work at all as a deadlock. It would only part turn and would not go as far as to deadlock it. The lock was removed and replaced several times, but no way would it work!!
Its a cheap night latch but works as it should. It locks the door.
Bought to replace another lock. Easy to fit and had to turn latch around which was also easy
Simple and direct replacement for the leading brand of night latch.
However this has a slightly shorter latch which is far better suited for Electric Release's over the leading brand.

Pay cheap pay twice I bought this and straight out of the box the bolt was horribly dented, damaged and unusable

Nothing really wrong with these Nightlatches, bought four of them and they are working prefect, giving four stars because two of them had the same key, so needed to replace rim cylinder for one of them
So far, so good. It's probably not as good as the premium brands, but fine for my porch door. Very good price and looks good when installed.

Ok for price feels very cheap and stiff to use. The fitting is also not a good finish. But for the price you get what you pay for.
