Worked very well. (After a little preliminary drilling). Once a grip had been established, perfect.
They are not as good as the reverse thread type. Initail danage screw more and needed to go up in soze rapidly to get some movement. Eventually got enough out to use plires to remove the rest.
Struggled to remove large screws from wall. May have been down me not using them correctly.
Failed to remove any of the damaged screws in my garden decking!
Done the job that was required. Worked as expected
It’s not removing the screwdrivers Tried all the bits
Excellent bit of kit used to extract the retaining screws to from 2 Euro Cylinder door locks.
Both screws had rounded VERY badly, I'd tried an impact driver but no joy.
Drilled a shallow 3.5mm hole in each screw to give the bit something to bite on and both screws came straight out with ease.
Just make sure your DRILL IS SET IN REVERSE and if you can, penetrate the screw with WD40 and let it soak for some time.
Both locks changed no problem and saved me a lot of money - thoroughly recommended.
Didn’t really do the job. It didn’t create sufficient bite to draw out the screw
Really bad! If you’re wondering at all, they do not work, not even a bit. Opt for more expensive ones if you’re able, or even just try a different method instead like I did eventually.
I had no luck at all trying to get this product to work. The tips don't seem to bite into the damaged screw heads. Perhaps I needed to use a better quality impact driver, but the purchase was a complete waste of money as far as I am concerned.
Did not remove screws but it is intended to technically drill them out
Waste of time does not grip damaged screws.just spins around
Didn’t work , buy the more expensive 2 ended one, this one the drill bit end is half for boreing out the hole and the other half removing the screw, and didn’t work. Others work. Others work but not this one
I bought this product to help me pull out a screw from my chair that I repaired, but it didnt do the job.
Good quality and good value
Total failure. Bought screw remover along with other items, hence did not realize they were Silverline products until I arrived home. When I used the items I was not surprised that they failed; made the situation worse. Why do Toolstation sell Silverline products?
