Helluva messy but worth it all things considered
Have used no more nails, grip fill, and other products in the past, but CT-1 wins hands down, the level of grip and curing time is over all better than other brands, the ease of application out of a silicone gun is second to none !
CT1 sealant/adhesive was recommended to me for fixing a collapsing worktop. The product enabled me to build a firm waterproof barrier in an area that is frequently exposed to splashing.

A sealant - in the rain, what a beautiful feeling, I'm happy again! It really does do the job when you need to get something into a gap or tear or split that works instantly! Just ensure that the area is as clean as possible, and you're away. I'd obviously recommend going back later and making a guaranteed fix, but as a very handy and versatile product, and in the correct conditions, it is a great long-lasting product that I'd heartily recommend.
