This (ultimately 1 of 5) was for my mums stairs as she is having trouble with her legs.
They are strong but not brittle so when pulling the 5 screws into the wall they flex appropriately and don't crack or break.
The brackets were slightly misaligned but fixed by a firm twist on a flat surface - thought they might break but actually no chance.
Might need 2 more and would be happy to purchase again.

Being close to the sea this being a plastic rail means it will not rust, even items claiming to be stainless rest here! The rail is sturdy and feels good. The only downside is there are no fixings. (I understand it is difficult to supply them as they don't know where it will be fixed). But the instructions say it mustn't be fixed with countersunk screws, you will find even Toolstation has a very limited selection of screws that would be suitable. I guess a countersunk screw with a washer would provide the same facility as they are hidden under a cover so not seen??
The bar was out of true, so could not be mounted on a flat wall. Returned to store and that was no problem. Advise checking it over when collecting.

Bought this to put on the wall in the bathroom of my elderly parent who now needs extra support getting around. Although it's plastic it's very sturdy. There are five screw holes at each end even though the instructions only show three. Easy to install and I like the way there's a cover to hide the screw heads

It's stronger than it looks, but it's still a little flimsy for a rail that potentially needs to take a fair bit of weight. Easy to fit and looks good.
Easy fit, but no fixings supplied. The ridged surface is good for gripping looks the part and works well.
With no disrespect but even the basic DIYer should be able to fix this on a wall. Slide the covers up the handle to expose fixing holes locate place where it's to be fixed either screw straight into wooden stud or drill for rawlplugs and screw into them, slide covers back int place, Job done. Really simple, price is competitive to rival company as well.
Fixing tip would be make a template for the screw holes but this is good for outdoor use being plastic and ridged for easy grip.
Stirdy enough being just ABS plastic. It's all about the correct fixings though.
Exactly what I needed and does the job at a good price. I was worried that being plastic they might not be robust enough but they are very solid indeed when attached to the wall.
Fitted several of these for elderly parents. Easy to fit and very effective if not the most aesthetically pleasing, but very economical so I cannot complain.
Simple and east to install with plenty of anchor points. Gives a sturdy result. Only curved ball is the requirement to use round head screws when fitting... not ideal as not something I normally carry.
