Just what is needed to use rj11 connectors to connect to Cat5e cable to get a better performing router to openreach connection
Ordered this but there was a problem with the part numbers and it wasnt the tool I wanted so I returned it for a refund
Very poor, terminated one connector and the crimp clamp twisted and wouldnt terminate any more - very poor tool avoid it if you can
Crimps and strips , just like it should, what else can be said
Not the same crimper as what is on picture .. it’s impossible to crimp an rj45 as the teeth of the crimper don’t line up with the golden pins on the rj45 end .
Works well, very good value for money.
basic rj45 crimpers, supposedly able to strip round cat6a however i couldn't work out how to so ended up using a craft knife. the RJ45 crimping worked fine as would striping flat cable
Taken back was not the best but might just have been one off
Not as easy as you may think. It took 15 minutes to get everything lined up, and the first attempt failed. You really need an ethernet tester to make sure it is all connected before spending time trying to debug your IT stuff.
not very well made the plug goes in too far so you have to pull it out to crimp the plug
Lasted half a day, would spend a little more and get the better ones
Bought it thinking i had a round hole and blade for stripping the pvc off cat5 cables but it doesn't. Still does the job but have to be careful to not slice through. Crimping works well
