Bought this along with a Lyvia Inline Switch to convert a table lamp. Found this very easy to fit. Works really well. Another satisfied customer.

I had a choice of two. The other one was that much better.... with a tiny plastic cable clip inside. I chose this one because it was cheapest. Tbh i chose fine. There is no need for extra sleeving clamping. This replaced a broken halogen light in my workshop. For a few pebce i was in action again and now it runs on 10w bulb and there is more ambient light which is much better than the halogen flood light. Top purchase!

Unfortunatey product was not what I wanted. I sought a blub socket that would screw onto the top of a standard lamp
Cheap and cheerful bayonet bulb holder from Crabtree. Very good price. All plastic frame but reasonable gauge walls. Easy to fit with fold-back friction wire holders. Always be careful with the super-fine shroud thread on all bulb holders as cross threading is a possibility & a real pain [a tip is to rotate the shroud anti clockwise until it 'clicks' - then turn clockwise]
