As all Crabtree products this outlet was easy to install.
Solid well made unit from Crabtree always good quality
I was not happy with the Crabtree cooker outlet as it only had one set of contacts which meant you could not terminate the hob supply permanently.the Crabtree cooker outlet was very fiddly with 6mm cable to terminate with the cooker hob supply cable in one single connection.I have fitted cooker outlet units before which has a set of termination for incoming supply and a separate termination for the outgoing supply.
Perfect for what I needed. It fits a 25mm surface mount box.

Mostly as expected internally but when clipping the knock-out for the cable the unit snapped across the whole face. Didn’t have time to return it so out of pocket
Perfect for the job. Needed a socket and this does the job.
Absolute garbage. Very difficult to fit with rubbish instructions. Nothing is obvious in the way the cable is clamped and the weird way to attach into back box. Small fiddly screws around the strange clamp fixing which will become lost. Wasted so much time trying to fit this on such a simple job.

bought when upgrading my oven, it was a tight fit as the supply cable was quite short. two pieces are fiddle but easier in a tight space or when you have tight cable. pretty solid and sturdy
This plate by Crabtree is tough, well designed and constructed. Nothing negative to say about it.
