I purchased this to replace a switch made by BG which became faulty (switch did not turn off the appliance). The terminals were accessable from the top which made the connections easy to fit. There are no instructions but the fitment is straightforward for a competent person. My only gripe is that Toolstation (amongst others) don't show the rear of the switch so you can see the configuration of the terminals. I would have included a picture to help others but Toolstation don't have that facility.
Have bought Crabtree products in the past as they're good value for money. However on this occasion I've given this item only 4 stars as getting the fuse in and out is quite tight (housing should come out a bit further) and if you're trying to access alongside a boiler in the corner of a cupboard its a bit fiddly
Quality switch spur. I like that all the terminals are accessible from above, no twisting of the switch to access terminals. It isn't a slim unit, but it allows the switch to be used in a 25mm box with no crushing of cable cores.

Such bad service from the branch staff at Fratton, Portsmouth. This visit to "not pick up my goods" reminded me why I have stopped going there. Wouldn't recommend using this branch...... Screw fix is much more pleasant and professional!
Decent make, fair price, I usually use Crabree, especially for basic sockets.
Bought this as a replacement for broken one, I liked this one as all terminal screws were accessed from above which makes fitting much easier.
Sensible places for the cables. Easy to fit and looks smart.
A bit fiddly to wire compared to the one it replaced but the switch has a very positive action.
I am a very big fan of Crabtree products so this purchase did not dissapoint.
Perfectly functional, but terminals are not logically arranged. Other spurs have load L, N and E in a line, but not this. Just makes retro fitting more time consuming.
One being replaced was Crabtree, which looked similar to MK. Incidentally am aware that MK are no longer made in England, but still seem better than the cheaper brands. MK not available at the time but Crabtree was. However Crabtree now is quite different to the 'old Crabtree'. Looked identical to the cheaper Axiom brand. Did the job, but would prefer to pay a little more for better quality.
The new design does not feel as sturdy as the older version but still ok.
