These Mending Plates have been really useful for joining corner pieces in several projects. They seem to hold quite strong. Having them in a pack of 10 makes them more economic if having a few jobs to do.

Thes were perfect for my job, but may not be as rigid as required for some jobs, as the steel is relatively soft. The holes are ideally located for mitred joints but too close to the corner for joining square edged boards

If there were a world where door hinges wore jackets and ties and angle irons opened doors for lady angle irons this mending plate would be the Prince of poiliteness and well meaning and every other such thing would follow his good manners and rightfullness.
