Perfect replacement for basic thermostat, when not requiring timing

Well made and simple to use just what I needed when my complex RF thermostat failed in my rental property .The Tennant very happy with the simplicity of this product .
Bought this one due to price. It's a shame that the front panel isn't square, instead of that bulge at the bottom. Also not sure why it has a securing screw at the top of the front panel, when it could just clip on. Not sure why they felt that a thermostat should have a light on the front.
Good Traditional Thermostat at Excellent Price. Big PLUS compared to others is it has both Demand and Satisfied outputs and a neon light that can be wired to show power input, demand or satisfied states. I wanted this to control a conservatory roof vent fan so needed the Satisfied output for cooling. Whole setup powered with a pull cord switch so the neon when wired to power input lets you know if the thermostat & fan fan are enabled or disabled.
a simple easy to use stat for situations where you just want to carry out a quick test, or a customer doesn't want anything complicated
The stat does the job. The customer specified this exact unit, as it has the orange light indicator to tell you the heating is demanding load. Only small gripe is having to put a link in the unit for the light to work. I would have thought a factory made link would be supplied.

The one before lasted 36 years and was still ok at the time of replacing with an RF digital stat which lasted no more than 6 years.
No worrying about flat batteries.
Changed the thermostat because it has a neion light easy to fit .always turn to toolstation very competitive Easy to order.a great benefit is having catalog unlike some.

The Corgi thermostat was an idea unit for an off the grid project.
All I wanted was a thermal switch working with 12 volts for a cat kennel heat pad which has its own fixed thermostat. As the weather gets cooler at night, it’s on and as it gets warmer during the day it’s off. The mains indicator was replaced with a 12 volt flashing LED.

the differential in switching for this device is probalby 2C and it seems to be quite sluggish in its response. I would probably recommend the digital thermostats instead.
