Used this before and it took a couple of days to remove noise, on this occasion it was nearly instant, very inexpensive resolution.
Great price, and it really works, I have used it in the past this very same brand and product.
It doesn't work straight away, in fact at first after a few days I was dissapointed. But with continued use of heating it gradually reduces the noise, until you suddenly realise it has done the job - noise about 90% less.
Stopped my old boiler kettling almost immediately, did a partial flush at the same time & radiators are hotter. Much cheaper than others.
My boiler was severely kettling, sounding as if it was about to explode! This was alleviated by turning the temperature down on the boiler... until it started again... I drained the system enough to allow me to pour the silencer into the header tank and into the circulating water. It was quieter after a couple of days and now a week later I can turn the boiler temperature back up and it is QUIET!
The noise silencer liquid appears to work as the kettling sound has reduced since it was added to the system. I drained the expansion tank and the water above the pump. I then used a platic hose squirting the liquid directly Into the tank to pump feed pipe. The water I had drained off I then used to refill the expansion tank as it contained an inhibitor.
Used this in an old system at home that is due for renewal later this year but was kettling so badly as to be really annoying. Started to quieten after about 3 weeks; now, around 6 weeks after dosing, it is virtually silent. Having used other similar products in other systems in the past with no real success I was a bit sceptical, but this stuff really does work. Not expensive either.
bought this to stop noise boiler has help to quiten the boiler down
Bought this when I changed a radiator as when the heating came on there was a tickling noise as the pipes warmed. Now no more noise
Not used before so fingers crossed it does the trick?
Early days to review , ask me again in a couple of months.
goes into the rads and does its job quite well depending on the system layout
