Used this in my microwave to brighten up the inside, replacing the 15W bulb. It takes the heat well as its inside the oven casing so relatively insulated.

Only Toolstation locally had these cooker hood bulbs in stock. Alternatives were recommended by local stores that didn't have the correct bulbs. Work well. Filament bulbs, not LED. Probably can't get LED due to being plastic. Get all my bulbs from Toolstation.

Did what it needed to do. No issues with it and still going strong.
Purchased two cooker hood bulbs. However one of them wouldn’t illuminate when switched on. On removal of the faulty bulb I found that it had blown. Obviously a fault as the other bulb works fine.
Great cookerhood light, easy to fit, nice bright light.
