Thought tap washers had failed but the stem was also worn. These were a direct replacement so saved me getting a plumber to replace the whole tap.
I bought these Tap Handwheels to replace some inferior quality tap heads that were chromed plastic, resulting in the chrome plating becoming worn off with age. These decent chromed brass tap heads look identical. I was hoping to just replace the handwheels and avoid replacing the spindle, but the splined shaft that the handwheel fits onto was a different size, so I had to remove the old spindle. The cold one was completely siezed ( probably with limescale) and I was beginning to round off the brass hexagonal nut, trying to undo it. Luckily I had some white vinegar to hand so made a reservoir around the bottom of the joint , with gaffer tape , and filled it with the vinegar. I left it for over an hour and the vinegar dissolved the limescale and I was able to unscrew the damaged nut, to remove the old tap spindle. If the tap is quite old you may as well replace the spindles , that come with the new kit, as the rubber tap washers will probably have gone hard and perished, which were exactly what had happened to mine. I've saved a bit of money here instead of buying a whole new tap, which is much better for the environment, than throwing away a usable kitchen tap.
The tap handles were too long and couldn't be turned. I had to pack out with a thick washer. Not impressed

Great product,so easy to fit,only thing encountered was the tops were resting on the tap body but this was rectified by putting an O ring on top of the stem to lift the tops slightly.

Replacement tap heads relatively easy to install and end effect is identical to original tap heads. However, internal brass fittings had to be replaced also because they are not compatible with original brass fittings, despite only needing chrome effect tap heads replaced (internal plastic screw threads worn out). The design has of these standard chrome effect tap heads has obviously altered slightly over the years.

Easy fit for standard basin tap valve. I used a hoover attachment with toilet roll inside to hold the tap in place while unscrewing the old valve.
Friendy and helpful staff, no issues very good product and price.
