Good Colour Match for my Oak laminate worktop from Ikea. Good because the draw bolts included.
Excellent quality product and exceptional value for money, it was perfect for the installation of worktops on a job I was doing and I had to look twice at the price because suppliers are charging more for just the colourfill , let alone the clamps that came with the set. They are very good quality and as I said previously exceptional value for money
I had to mix this with the white Colorfill because I had an off white marble finish on the worktop. It was easy to mix but started going off quickly so that after 10 - 15 seconds I fe.tvthat it was too thick to handle properly. After waiting for it so set I found that tgerexwas shrinkage in the fillinf I had applied so had to repeat the process. I would advise applying excess then sanding down to the required level. It does level off with sandpaper quite easily. No advice/instructions except the small writing on the tube.
The colour fill does its job extremely well when joining two work tops together and needing filler to fill the gaps.
Also included with the colour fill are work tops bolts which is a bonus. I don’t believe any other retailers do such a deal. Altogether a great product at a great price.

in the end i did use the bolts - just the colour fill - which was excellent - I have used the bolts in the past - the reason i did not use bolts , just 2 pieces of worktop joined together , and having cupboards on top - so only the front 20cm showing and a utilty room so np big deal
The White Colorfill repair kit with clamping bolts was very good and an excellent price. The bolts have the self retaining plastic clip, which works very well where there are no cabinet features to support or interfere with the installation. You could remove the clip if necessary. Also, unlike the bolts supplied with my kitchen, these have a smaller coach bolt head which is smaller than the width of the metal plates, and therefore better suited to thinner 28mm worktops.
The Colour filler was a fairly good match for my Marble effect worktop, but only in the thinnest gaps. Anything thicker, like a chip, would need a colour mix. The filler is easy to apply, although you can't use the screw-on-tool along the vertical edge of the curved end, and it goes off very quickly in warm weather. I barely had time to get the bolts in before it had gone off and the acetone was not much use by then. A sharp scraper was good enough to remove any excess.

The fixing bolts are OK - didn't find the plastic clips to be much use. The ColorFill was a perfect match for the IKEA oak laminate worktop, and I used a bead of PVA at the lower edge, and a bead of ColorFill towards the upper edge. Doing that, I had enough for 3 joints, with a tiny bit left over for missed spots. A plastic bladed scraper is a must for cleaning up the squeeze-out, and the supplied solvent - it's just acetone - works fine for final cleanup. All in all, a good kit. As others have said, it does go off quickly, so be fully prepared before you start!

Horrible stuff, dries and hardens way too quickly, and doesn't dry smoothly. Prefer to use filler or silicone
