C.K Automatic Wire Stripper

I was stripping speaker wire with kitchen scissors which took ages so I bought this product to make life easier.
It’s a great bit of kit and strips Wires easily. Seems to work first time every time. Adjustable for different wire sizes. I’m really impressed.

My favorite tool. So quick and easy. Two clicks and wire all ready to connect. Makes DIY fun. I look for things to wire up.

Very good quality and so easy to use. The micro depth adjustment is very useful to ensure that the inner wire sheaths do not get damaged when removing the outer sheath. Both my sons have bought one after seeing how easy and quick it is to use.

The only downside is that although the wire cutting function is adequate, it not as good as a decent pair of side cutters.

Overall a quality item at a great price.

I thought it was about time I replace my 30+yr old wire strippers. I had a reasonably large job to do, these are a game changer. Made the job quicker and easier.

Ordered from local Toolstation great service a per normal. The tool is well made and stuedy. I was struggling to strip the cables fro a garage wiring job. This tool has not only made it easier to strip the cables, bur also speaded up the job.

Bought to review trailer - worked as expected to restrip wires.

Quite large.
No instructions.
Worked well for general electrical work - replacing ceiling rose with 3 way connector.
Also OK with finer wire - model railway.

Very useful. Strips inner wires and also the outer casing of twin and earth cable.

Great bit of kit. Surprisingly heavyweight and should last a reasonable time. Good value as well.

I have the use of only one hand which makes traditional wire strippers hard to use (think: having to step on cable that you want to strip, or doing it with your teeth). Ran into a bit of cash and decided to splash out on these. I was apprehensive after a bad experience with a cheap pair of automatic wire strippers years ago which broke, but these are leagues ahead and simply ooze quality. Other reviews have said they don't strip multistranded wire well, but in my experience it's faultless. A solid, quality product which should last a lifetime.

I was planning to do some electrical work and, as I always do, went onto the Toolstation App to order the basic parts (back boxes, socket, switch etc).

For some reason, this tool also came up from my search and I started to read the reviews which were almost universally brilliant. I didn’t really need it (I can do the same job with a Stanley Knife!) but I thought I’d give it a try.

OMG, this thing is an utter game changer. It’s just brilliant. It requires no adjustment, requires no skill to use it, it just knows what you want to do without telling it!! This is as close to magic as you can get.

A good set of wire strippers. Works well on standard T&E, not great on 6mm round. For day to day work they speed things up. Sometimes the grip on the cable is too weak to strip the outer layer and so you have to hold the jaws together to exert more pressure. The end stop adjustment is not great - a bit fiddly to flip into place and often moves to create problems with strip lengths.

Great design, excellent build quality, will give a clean and accurate cut with no scarring to the conductor. Put down your old Stanley knife and pick this up, at this price it’s money well spent.

I wish I had purchased one of these years ago! Its easy to use, easy to configure fro smaller wire sizes and feels very secure in the hand. Great tool.
