it's saves time clearing up. it's tough and about the right size for a small mix of mortar

For the price i think it is reasonable. A great size and such a useful addition when i dont want the hassle of the mixer. Unfotunately it was quite flimsy in the centre and the spade made a crack . It was repairable but it happened on the third time of use so not brilliant. If you are careful with the spade i suppose no problem but it has limitations.
Handy and very practical solution to mixing up mortar, no mess on the ground. Great product.
Just what I needed for mixing up some mortar. Solid but not too heavy and a good lip to stop the slurry running away whilst mixing.
Some people have been critical of the strength of this item, I am unsure why unless they are using a spade incorrectly when mixing a batch. I found that yes it will superficially mark when mixing using a spade after a number of mixes it was still in virtually pristine condition. Hanging hole makes it easy to store by hanging against a wall. Size is just about right - any bigger and you would be using a cement mixer anyway.

Sadly the mixing tray was not suitable for my needs and broke within half an hour of using it to mix cement. The tray cracked from using a spade to dig through the mix.
First class service as usual. The item I purchased was perfect for my needs although it nearly killed me as I'm not used to physical work

Spot on for mixing small quantities of cement. It’s in the back of the car easy to wash nice and robust minimises cleanup what’s not to love
Tough and durable, large enough to mix 2 bags of sharp sand and cement without the mixture spilling over the lip.

Trying to be balanced with this review, the tray cracked and left a pretty big hole in it, the first time I put sand in the tray, because my shovel fell out of the wheelbarrow with the sand and landed in the tray. Luckily it was close to one edge, so I worked around the hole all day and mixed a lot of concrete in it. Personally, I think these trays are now too brittle and if the shovel had made a hole in the middle, it would have been a complete waste of money. However, these trays are useful in certain locations, therefore, it’s a pity the build quality has dropped so much.
A bit rubbish - the plastic tray cracked on the first attempt at mixing. I need to take it back.
Seems to do the job hasnt cracked yet like the last one so long as to put it on a level surface.
