I previously purchased five of these C/C joiners, for the bedrooms upstairs. I didn't want the carpet to dip so l used two strips of hardboard beneath each joiner to compensate for the thickness of carpet underlay ie nice flat - flush carpet joints...
It is larger than your average door and will need cutting to size.

Carpet joiner was needed to finish a project in a timely fashion. I checked and Toolstation was the only place that carried it in stock for immediate collection.
Excellent product, which was easy to trim to length, included fitting screws, and looks good now it has been fitted. Not even much blood when I snagged a finger on the very sharp grippers!
