The carpet edging is not silver and shiny like in photos. It is a matt aluminium colour. Mis leading description of product
Smart at the price worked well, shame the jaw gaps for those on sale are no a couple of mm wider. Worked okay to stop a hall runner from running away.

Good product, but although it appears to have a polished finish in the picture, it’s actually satin/matt silver.
This is actually not as shiny as the photo, but that actually matched the decor better for us.
