Keeps the gate closed and hopefully will weather well in the NW coastal winds. Nice sturdy hook.
Good solid galvanised cabin hook which is sound value and does its job
Holds my garden gate open when required, easy to fit requiring only 4 screws. Only negative was that there were a few sharp edges left on the galvanised finish on the hook that had to be carefully smoothed off using a file.
Fitted 2 to rerfurbished summerhouse doors, good length - not too long or short.
No frills product: cheap and cheerful and does the job.

The bar is more robust than expected for this price. Worked great on garage door during strong winds, so far. The connection plates seem a bit small for its bar, but add a spreader plate or connecting with decent screws to structural timbers and it has been great.
Chunky and would appear to.be well made. I would expect it to at least out live the shed that it is now affixed to!
