This is the third and final review that follow my two recent equipment reviews. The purchase of this busbar was to enable me to fit a Wylex MCB into an elderly consumer unit serving a shower installation (see also MK 45A DP upright isolator & Wylex 32A Type-B MCB).
As the pitch of the tabs of the busbar is the standard 18mm, I had no difficulty installing it after I had reduced its length by breaking it at one of the scored lines in the copper. The insulating sleeve was then cut to length using a junior hacksaw.

The Busbar is adequate, but not as substantial as the BG original it was replacing. It does however come at a reasonable price and has done the job.

First time ive used this particular product and i wasn't disappointed, love the addition of the little end covers finishes the job off nicely.
Universal Busbar smaller than my original one but fits is fine as a replacement for my old BusBar.
Good replacement, Fitted to consumer unit with a damaged bus bar. Can be used both ways around and cut to suit.

Its a niglon busbar. Fitted perfectly into a niglon consumer unit where the existing busbar had for some reason been cut short.
