Used couple of time for digging a ditch. Made life a lot easier and not to heavy to handle all day.
Good tool and went straight to site to do a great job.
Ideal took to dig up bramble roots and general ground works.

Does what it should do. Easy to fit onto the handle.
Very good weight to this product , fits better with a wooden handle rather than a fibre one.
Glad I bought this. Already have picks, spits and various digging tools. This one, only needed the head to interchange with pick axe handle….easier to store. weight and balance just perfect and very efficiently made its way through a few cubic metres of compacted soil
Excellent product, well balanced, needed to grind a sharp edge on it.
I’d borrowed a mattock from my daughter to help with getting a new allotment under control. That convinced me of the merits of the tool so when she needed it back I had no hesitation in getting one myself. This is the lowest price I could find and I’m not disappointed. Weight is good and combined with the recommended handle the balance is decent. The only reason for dropping one star is that the website picture shows a ground point on the chisel edge, suggesting a sharpened/hardened edge. The mattock I got has no such edge and the whole thing is finished in a green paint. So the look is not great but so far it has performed well for me
Wonderful for loosening roots and soil.
Heavy enough and sharp enough to cut through medium roots.
My daughter loved it great stress relief, to take out all her aggression.
Bought with the associated wooden handle.

A great mattock head that makes short work of weeds. Sturdy build, excellent heavy weight, an essential bit of garden kit. As an old fart I am surprised how many young folk(20-40s) have no idea what a mattock is.
Took a while to find the head singularly Didn’t want one of the fiberglass ones but it is a great item so far.
Mattock head is shorter but wider than expected, turned out to be a good thing, has better leverage & great as an axe too (both sides), dug out a tree + chased out roots, removed hardcore, genuinely impressed.
Bought this with the Bulldog wooden handle which made short work of some gnarly tree roots that refused to budge with other tools.
Fit for purpose, does the job it is designed to do well.
Decent quality, fitted the shaft bought at the same time okay, showed made in India, worked fine digging out a Pampas grass base and roots.
Bought this for my existing handle and tried to break it over the weekend digging out a stump...it was too strong. Thanks toolstation.
