Very good purchase recommend by the plumber installing
Lovely looking tap and very quick and easy to install. Great price and great value!
Great quality kitchen tap ! Compact , sturdy and looks great in my kitchen.
Great tap and value for money - easy to fit and works well
Great tap very easy to use, complete with 15mm valves
Difficult to fit and the two little grub screws that hold the mixer tap onto the base are too short to be able to tighten enough without the risk of stripping the threads. Beware, I had the same problem with my last similar Bristan mixer tap, so I had to change them to slightly longer ones.
Nice looking tap but had to return as it was broke
This kitchen tap is one I love to fit because it is configured in two parts the sink platform and fixing mechanism, which includes hot and cold connections with isolation valves. And the tap itself which locks into the platform and wound down with two grub screws brilliant
Good quality from Bristan and with the easy fit makes it easy to change next time around? The easy fit system is a good idea and if fitting a few of these often enough it would be pretty easy and quick, first time doing it not so much but got there in the end. Still a little skeptical about the tap being held in place by grub screws especially since the earlier ones had issues with taps coming off and water shooting out! Apparently the issue was sorted and no problems since? Tap finish and durability appears to be good as you would expect from Bristan, price wise this was on offer but not cheap and with alternatives coming in at nearly half the price makes it a hard sell really. The good thing with Bristan is if there are any issues down the line they can always supply spare parts which is great as most taps on the market now are virtually impossible to get any sort of replacement parts for, so it means replacing the whole thing. so is paying a premium for the Bristan better than buying cheap better in the long run….. time will tell.
Really easy to fit, even on a 38mm worktop. Good quality and looks great. Only been in a few days, so no comment on longevity yet.
As far as taps go .. this is a nice tap. Elegantly shaped, nice spout, great levers.
Bristan have been around a long time and do come up with some unconventional ideas. The easy fix design Is ok and I didn't have any bother fitting the base and tightening with the Allen key provided. To connect the tap to the base, there are two grub screws that need tightening with the mini Hex type screwdriver provided. The screws do seem to screw In a long way and you get the feeling they'll suddenly disappear. There are a pair of non return valves supplied but for what ever reason, you may decide not to fit these. On test, the biggest let down after all of the engineering Bristan went through, was how the water flowed from the diffuser. With the cold having mains pressure, the stream of water was controlled and straight but the Hot.....4 or 5 separate streams. I knew It had to be either the design or a foreign body and so struggled like mad to release the machine tightened diffuser and have a look. Nothing wrong but just poor design so I swapped the one from the Cooke & Lewis tap just removed and the flow was sweet👌
Good quality. The only problem I had was that in the instructions I states you must fit the base with the word front , obviously at the front . Guess what. No front printed on the base. I rang the manufacturers and the lady I spoke too was baffled . That is not a major problem . Just letting you know
Easy to fit and looks stylish, reordered and collected the following day, simple and quick.
Easy fit base is not always easy. It really is very easy for thin worktops or sinks but if you have to fit it through a hole that is about an inch deep, it won't fit 'easily' and you have to jump under the counter in the old-fashioned manner. However, if your work top is anything over 35mm, this fitting will not install on it at all.
Very good quality mixer tap complete with all fittings.
Excellent product, well engineered and easy to install. Easy to follow instructions and connected quickly to existing pipe work.
Easiest tap install ever. The EasyFit mechanism that Bristan has on this tap is a game -changer.
Great monobloc tap, easy to fit and smooth action for the ceramic cartridge handle. On offer at the time too.
Really nice tap. Looks great, nice easy action to move side to side, easy to fit
