Simple connector to connector two lengths of hose together if they have female connectors fitted. Works well

Used this to connect an extension hose to my default camping water one, it was a good tight fit as expected and on testing the water flow, there were no leaks at all. A great piece of kit for under a £1 - so am so glad I purchased x2 to keep a spare handy.
Worked perfectly for joining two brass female garden hose terminations. And so cheap! The only improvement I can think of would be the inclusion of a couple of spare O-rings.
To fit in some hose fittings, it needs to be 1-2mm longer. The hose connector shoots off!

Thrown in recycling. Doesn’t properly fit hoselock female connectors. Ended up buying hoselock at 5x the price but it fitted perfectly.

Good quality, have used one in the past that had a slightly better design, with a raised ridge in the middle to get hold of when using. But it does the job and got us out of a muddle. At under a pound, I’m not complaining.
The quality of this product is very good, better than plastic alternatives.
Needed to join two female hose fittings. Noticed that a plastic fitting was available for several pounds , then spotted this brass fitting for 99p. Worked a treat with no leaks. Would recommend as a good cost effective solution.
It's brass, so should last, and it was very cheap. However it only works with the basic connector. If you have a flow stop connection it doesn't push the valve far enough to open it. Can be solved with a suitably sized washer, but a fiddle to get it set up.
