Had a leak on my shed felt roof so got this today the job and did the job.i used a heat gun on low to melt the tar on the back of the tape and went over the edges with an old wallpaper roller so there were no gaps for water to get under and boy did it stick and do the job so I will be buying more to keep in the shed for the next emergency repair
Ok in the end - it is advisable to ensure that primer is dry before applying the flashband
I bought this for a shed roof flashing. It was easy to use and did the job.
Got this to repair some previous flashing put on skylights on a felt roof which had been baked during last summer's heat. Good stuff but you need to get the adhesive literally sizzling and apply with serious pressure if you want to get a good bond but a good idea to get some bitumen primer down first. We'll see how this performs next summer if it's as hot as the last one.
Used over expansion ridges where slight cracks were occurring. Cleaned and dried area with heat gun first then pressed into place and smoothed over cloth and seem roller.
Sticks very well and looks neat. Think it will reinforce well but only time will tell.

Super sticky roof sealant that just works.I used this recently to seal between my conservatory roof and the eaves of the house. No problems at all. I've used it several times over the years and never had it leak.
Applies and sticks easily enough. Malleable, cuts easily with a Stanley. Seems thick and waterproof enough so far.
Time will tell but initially it appears to have worked as expected, so I’ll give it full marks
Decent when the weather is hot , waste of time to use if raining or very wet surface.
Just as good as lead and looks just as good. You wouldn’t know unless you close.
Loving this flashing tape, it's water proof and comes in three different widths to match your requirements. Waterproof and so easy to use, I recommend it for those jobs on the roof or balconies.

No problems with getting this to stick, a good 5 inch band top and bottom of flat roof to brick cabke.

Easy to apply, cut and mould. When used with primer should last a long time.
Poor quality, unrolled it and the backing plastic cover was coming off. Looks like it had separated end the tacky adhesive had dried. Had to adapt and use it as had no choice then to use a heat gun on it as an emergency repair.
Brilliant product did exactly the job I needed it for.
Very impressed with this flashband. It's does as it says and very effective in protecting against leaks and makes a DIY novice like me do what I need to do without much stress. Will buy again when needed.
