Having relied on Bosch tools for various projects over the years, I can certainly offer a trade perspective on this particular piece.

First Impressions & Build Quality:

Upon unboxing, the Bosch Bi-Metal Holesaw exudes a sense of solid construction. The bi-metal composition – the high-speed steel teeth laser-welded to a tougher alloy body – is immediately apparent. This is crucial. It speaks to the tool's ability to bite cleanly through a variety of materials without stripping teeth prematurely. The 25mm size is a versatile dimension, ideal for tasks like running cables, installing smaller pipes, or creating openings for certain fixtures.

The tooth geometry appears well-engineered. Teeth are sharp (and stay sharp!), with a decent set that allows for efficient material removal without excessive binding. You can tell they've considered the balance between aggressive cutting and a smooth finish. The sturdy backing plate and the well-defined thread for the arbor connection inspire confidence in its durability and secure mounting. No flimsy feeling here; this feels like a tool built to last.
