Makes a good mortar. Convenient format, but I always need more than I expect so buy 2 next time.
Does what it says on the tub. Easy to mix with just a drop of plasticer, ideal for repointing brick work
This is an excellent product for the DIYer to use for minor repairs about the house and garden. No worries about getting the right mix (but be careful not to add too much water!) Mix in the bucket minimises mess, or, if not using the whole lot at once, mix on a board and the snap on lid will keep the rest fresh for a little while longer.
It's mortar mix ... what else is there to say ? 10kg doesn't got as far as you may think, I had to get another tub.

The lime and sand blend adds to its durability and makes it more resistant to weather, cracking and frost. A reliable choice for small repairs or general brickwork. This is the third bucket I have purchased for different jobs.
I bought some Mortar as I needed a small amount of Sand & Cement mix, ideally I would have chosen a more sandy yellow colour as I wanted to also fix some paving grouting also, however that is not easy to get as a ready mix option?
As said previously, a fantastic product for a 70yo to use and make a diffence to problems in the garden.
Excellent product at a a good price. Handy size tub is perfect for patching work, and more convenient than bags of sand and cement.

After 400 years the droughts followed by torrential rains have finally caused the red Devon clay between the lowest run of stones of my cottage to break down. Mice entered and ate the electrics ! We decided to use lime mortar to repair the stone walls and this dry ready mix product was perfect. Just add water (wearing a proper chemical mask) and it’s so easy to use.
Fast mixing with water, easy to work with, the bucket version is also quite handy.
