These are about half the price of the very similar version by Old Hill Ironworks which seem to be no longer available at Toolstation. The advantage with these is that they come with more robust pozi screws rather than the chocolate slot heads with the Old Hill Ironworks ones. The downside of these is that the first hole is very close to the pivot and also isn’t oval to allow the free movement of the stay. A round file fixed the latter problem with a bit of effort.
Like other similar products, the pins are straight-sided rather than tapered so the stay doesn’t have a snug fit and your window will rattle in the breeze.
For the price though I can’t complain.

I brought this after my dog lost its tail in a scrap with a lawnmower and a prosthetic one was far too expensive. The screws provided worked well for attachment to her body. I didn’t want to throw the two little catches away, so now she has a tiny set of horns too and looks very good as the finish on both match perfectly.
Brittle, holes are not big enough or shaped right for the pins, screws are week. All in , they are awful and i would urge toolstation to question why they stock them!
Fit for purpose and very good value for money. I recommend this product.
it is what it is... i would have rated it 5 stars but one of the two i purchased was missing two screws, not the end of the world, but i suspect i was a returned item.

Fantastic price on these Black Antique looking Casement Stays / Arms (Took me a while to work out what they are actually called tbh)....just what i needed to replace broken and missing ones in a Flat...they came with the litte metal peg bits to secure on frame too !!!
Solid strong feel, easy to fit with enough movement in the hinge to allow for alignment changes
