Workbench 626 ordered online and ready immediately for collection. Retail unit convenient, can park at shop front and nice staff..
Good solid portable work bench. Had one before that lasted a few decades and has been well used in that time. The new one is just a solid.
Dual height workbench is really useful depending on the job in hand. This one replaces my 42 year old similar workbench which I have recently managed to damage.
Excellent bit of kit form B & D. I’ve had workmate after workmate - only the BD ones stand the test of time.
Invaluable tool. Can be easily taken where I need it.
Very happy with the product the dual height makes it very versatile, also very happy with the price I shopped around online and Toolstation cheapest by far.
Bought this for doing DIY around the home.
Fairly sturdy, easy to assemble and does what’s required of it. Pleased with purchase so far.
Brilliant once I assembled it. The instructions could have been clearer
I bought this to replace an old cheap workbench. Years ago I had an old blue B&D workmate and this is not a patch on the old version. The jaws are thin and made from bamboo and the metal used in construction is thin and flexible. Jaws dont come together as I would expect. All a bit loose. Would rather pay double for something decent but will not buy another one of these.
I had one of these dual hight woorkmate with aluminium bottom legs, that fell apart after many years work. I had also changed the plywood top section twice over 30 years. Having used a smaller version, of the workmate which gave my backache. I am now a retired DIYer and I was very pleased when I saw your advert for the full size workmates. This workmate had the perfect specification for my DIY needs. I have had it two weeks and used it every day and it's helped me with serious renovations I am actively involved in. For example have been using a electric tile cutter for the first time and found it sat easily on the workmate this helped with the re-tiling the kitchen. What was important for me again no back issues with the dual hight workmate. Consequently I would recommend the product to a friend or anyone interested in DIY and found the workmate to be good value for money. The smaller work bench has been dumped in the garage unused.
There is only one problem with this workmate as far as I can tell and that is the instruction booklet. I had to go to You tube to find which bit went where. After that it was simple to put together. It is lighter to carry than my old one but seems just as well put together.
Good value, poor instructions, very vague. But sturdy once assembled.
Bought to replace a 50 + years old bought with cig coupons did not chose a cheap one But it is very tinny compared with the old one even the wood is cheaper grade Sign of the times i expect
Not at all easy to put together and plastic spanner slips therefore have to use wrench to tighten up bolts, very flimsy up to my old b and d workmate which was much sturdier and made of more metal than plastic probably lasted me over 25 years I cannot see this one lasting as long
