Have used Big Boy body filler a number of times, not for car body repairs but for repairs to wood especially skirting boards etc. It is ideal after filling a larger hole with a chunk of wood and then finish off with this filler, 15-20 mins later you can sand it down and paint. Great for making a mismatched corner neat.
Smooth easy to sand and quick setting easy mixing !
Quality filler easy to sand. Would strongly recommend
Very good filler for filling holes in in things. Lids a bit hard to get on on off after a few times though. But it plenty of it in this big boy tub
Hi, I use this to fill old wooden windows, where they are rotten, sands down for a smooth finish, works well!
Used this as a wood filler for a window frame. Managed to do a good job with this product and it was cheaper than the flller I normally use.
Good filler, Good size, at a fair price, Used to repair rotted wood on my garden shed.
Dries quick and sands easily.
Good filler.................once you¬ve got into the tin! The tin has a very flimsy rim so when you try to prise it open it just bends leaving nothing to get a grip of. There is also some kind of sealing gunge round the inside of the lid adding to the problem.
Only ONE tube of hardener paste with a 600ML Tin of paste.of hardener
Does what it says on the tin and the size is very economical.
Easy to use and mix. Went on smooth first time. Easy to rub down.
Smooth to apply and easy to sand leaving a fine feather edge
I used in an emergency to fix the bottom of my rotten door as i couldn't get the right size replacement . once sanded and painted its unnoticeable. I,ve used numerous times since for other repairs
Very good fine easy sand filler, will buy and use again.
Does the job that i got it for, would purchase again
Decent product and price . Easy enough to sand. Seems like a good buy
Good well priced filler. I love it and i want to have its babies.
Always used this 2 part on woodwork. Always on primed surface .
Great product at a great price. I use this the. Filling any exterior wood. Just make sure you aren’t putting it on top of damp wood, and it’s ideal for the job. As far as I can see it’s just the same as car body filler, but buying it in these tubs from Toolstation is a lot cheaper than buying car filler from a car parts retailer. It sets pretty fast, so you’re not waiting ages before you can drill it, sand it or paint it.
Toolstation is always there when I need stuff, it’s my go to. Order online, get trade discount on great prices anyway, then pick up on my way to the workshop, can’t beat it.
