Pleased to find a ball cock repair kit, at a reasonable price, I changed the rubber and fitted a new cotter pin now the toilet cistern is filling and flushing like a new one again,
Top marks for Toolstation
Thanks well pleased
The most important washer and diaphragm were missing from the kit. Toolstation said they couldn't check as there were no more in stock (pack was sealed). Ended up buying a new ball valve to get spares. Disappointed in toolstation, wasted day and travel expenses
Items not all as shown and no list included to check contents.
Fibre washer missing but plastic cone for (part 2 HP valve) was included.
Cone and diaphragm seal slightly different in size so cleaned/reassembled original 'Made4Trade' valve parts to avoid using the repair kit!
One of the seals in the kit done the job to stop the valve leaking.
Good quality and price , would recommend to others
Worked perfectly, easy to fit and reasonably priced.
Had everything I needed to repair a dripping toilet ball valve.
Contains all the bits you might need for the vast majority of standard ball-valve repairs, in my case for an overflowing loft water tank
Good product but for the cost difference it easier to change the complete Ball Value.
Easy to fit as long as you can turn water supply off completely. Threaded parts need to be tightened really hard.
Perfect for the job, replacement washer has sorted the deafening flush noise
Great service! The counter assistant chap was very helpful and patient. The kit works well and sorted the problem.
A quick easy fix for a leaking ball valve, comes with all parts needed.
Ball float valve universal repair kit, fits and works
All thats needed for a repair job without buying a completely new valve
The package supplied did not match the picture as there was only 1 washer.
Simply easy fit no messing about with lots of parts stoppedit dripping
Went in to buy 1 brass split / cotter pin but spotted this repair kit that contained split pin but also other items which i thought I wouldn't need. When fitting new split pin to float arm realised washer had perished too so kit very useful.
Solved the problem with my old (1992?) ball valve and I now have spare bits for a more modern one if ever required. Easy quick solution to an unexpected problem.
Able to renew replace worn out parts and replaced with these,, good fit fraction of price of new valve,, job done.
