Simple to install , functional and cheap solution to door fastening issues

This tiny little door catch will save me so much rage, anger and claustrophobia. Original door catch on the bathroom door for the second time in its life managed to stop twisting with the handle. Last time wasn’t so bad as I was outside the bathroom and just took the door trim off to open it again (and replace the innards) This time, not so lucky and was inside the bathroom with no access to anything remotely tool shed like to allow me to break out.
Contemplated a few bathroom items that I could possibly fashion some sort of a pry bar out of (don’t think husband would appreciate me using his toothbrush) so finally decided on a pair of tweezers, pulled right open to allow me to at least access the catch bit that was stuck in the door frame. I finally managed to creep the catch back enough to finally open the door again and escape.
Looking through the toolstation app realised that this would be a MUCH better alternative to me and the escape room bathroom so fitted it the next day, safe in the knowledge that it just can’t happen again and for such a bargain price.
Does the job as expected, not a lot of complaints about it, work a treat

Works for me. Only consideration is that the ball does not protrude very far, so the door does need to be fairly close to the door frame.
