This isolator switch is fairly decent for the money. I would only say that the plastic front could do with a little improvement as it seems a bit flimsy, but other than that it's good
Generally happy however the cable entry points could be more accommodating for other cable dimensions

The single screw terminals are not good enough for clamping onto a 25mm cable. The conductors remain loose after the terminals have been tightened. This could lead to overheating or possibly a fire.
Changed for a Wylex which has double clamp connectors.
Good quality switch at a reasonable price, and available quickly.
Good cheap isolator that does the job. The only problem I had was that you have to be very careful with the wired screw connections at the top and bottom. It's quite easy to leave them slack.

Standard double pole isolator switch in a rugged plastic case with openings for large diameter cables. Comes with rubber spacers so that smaller cable can be used.
Brilliant customer service and product from Toolstation as usual. Super helpful staff even at few minutes before closing time. Understood my problem but didn't push an opinion like in the Other Place. Patiently showed me the product and it's alternatives. Very impressed
