After a trip to my electrical wholesaler they could not find me a nice shallow plate, Toolstation had the perfect part and at a great price too

Entry level budget item which does the job intended. Cable entry as supplied was a bit rough for my liking so a little work there to smooth some rough edges. Good quality connector attached to plate and supplied with mounting screws and cap cover plugs. Removeable cable access plug to allow neat finish if cable exit not required from the plate.
Just what I needed to extend some heating controls. Removed the terminal block and replaced with 7 way terminal block (Loose in the box). Purchased it for cable clamping.
Has cord grip at the back. I was looking at the reviews and needed a cord grip at the back of this socket. I was unsure if it was a standard thing on these faceplates as I haven't used them much. However, it definitely does, as well as the expected 6 terminals
service experienced in the area this time..
The product is what you expect at this price but my biggest gripe with Toolstation collections service is you spend time ordering your product and then have to wait again for a 2minute pickup behind non online customers, STAINES did on this occasion what all the other stores should do and that was to call out for customers on COLLECTION !

Used this in a bathroom to connect an electric element towel warmer- much cleaner and better looking than a plate with a hole in the front which it replaced. The corners are just a little bit less rounded than the pattress box it's sitting on, but you have to look closely to notice this.
I just wanted a cheap blank face plate, so I bought this one. It looks neat, does the job & even includes screws & blanking plugs to go over the screw holes!
