Great budget consumer unit with cheap RCBOs. SPD easy to install. Everything does what it should at a fraction of the cost. Din rail screw thread not great but probably just a bad batch. Self tappers solved the problem.
I discovered from buying the 12-way twin RCD version of this board today that they now use threaded inserts in the lugs in the main body of the board to screw the two cover screws into. Previously there were just threads tapped into the lugs which was fine. One of the inserts came out of the lug when securing the cover and wouldn't secure back in. Didn't even tighten the screw particularly hard. Absolute disaster. Awful, awful modification. Will not be buying any more. So disappointed, these used to be excellent value for money.

Excellent price. Coming populated is a good bonus. Couldn't find at a better price anywhere. Even came with a free gland kit. Would have been wonderful if it came with grommets or a slotted cable entry but thats just a small gripe. Also where the tails come into the box the knockout is very close to the back of the box. Would be better to have been a couple of millimetres closer to the front as getting the nut on the gland was very difficult. The neutral off the main switch could be an inch or two longer and would then give the option of moving the main switch to the left to better reflect the side the tails come in. All in all though still a good deal.
