I used this for a mist coat and then a topcoat. It went on really well, so I'm really pleased as it's so reasonably priced. As others have said, it has a slight yellowish tinge, but I like it, as it looks like a very soft cream. In the picture, the walls are at the mist coat stage and the ceiling has had a mist coat, and the first topcoat.
Good thick emulsion great for new plaster and to first coat over colours , great for ceilings but I wouldn’t use as a finish on the walls.

Painted the ceiling and walls of the kitchen in this as have used it for years. Excellent job! Would certainly recommend this product without any doubt.

Made a big job so much simpler. Great on new plaster board 2 coats, job done! Bought a second bucket as I had a big area to cover.
Really good paint smooth finish no drips good with roller and brush and cover fresh and old plaster I was a Dulux man but this paint outstanding and easy to use
Absolutely dog dirt 2coats on and will need at least 5 . Don’t bother buying this .

Paint for someone who wants to repaint every month. Basically just simple touching with a wet wipe is enough for the paint to come off. Definately not trade quality. You're saving £20 but getting a useless product. I suggest buying wipeable paint. Coverage is not the worst. 3 coats for plasterboard.
The paint is good for a sprayer and has a good coverage. The guy at Southend's branch who sold it to me though was unprofessional and picked me up on my pronunciation of the title of the paint and was so miserable even his colleagues were looking at their watches wondering how much longer they have to be with him for. Change of profession, perhaps English teacher maybe. Melt.

I purchased a large tub of armstead trade matt white emulsion and ordered into the store on stoneferry hull I went in I got served straight away the guy behind the counter was very polite and professional and the paint with the extra 2 liters was good value for money thank you toolstation I will be back soon kind regards Mr G Clarke
Great paint and value for money. Gives great coverage and not too thin.
I've used this pretty much throughout my house.. for years.. and I really rate it. It's really good quality (Armstead is the trade version of Dulux.. both made by Akzo). Beware, it's not pure brilliant white though.. it has a very slight yellow tinge (which partners really well with Victorian white woodwork).
Great product. And available in all the colours of the Heritage range.
Matt Emulsion is such a minefield with respects to coverage and quality but, this is one of the best we have used.
Good coverage really happy with the results would bye again.
