Haven't been let down with this product yet although i did try a cheaper version that didn't end well.
I would definitely recommend this kit.
It worked really well on mains pressure. I had to replace the mains water stop cock and stopped the water while I replaced it, and then again when I realised I fitted it the wrong way round.
Didn’t work on 22mm copper cold heating pipe. Used 300ml can as directed
The kit doesn’t work I used a full can and the water still flows very disappointing as I got very wetting a repair
22mm pipe followed the instructions even used another gas cylinder and the pipe didnt freeze. It was a very warm day. I have used these before with success but not this one.
Not enough spray for 2 covers, only for one, need add in box 2 spray bottles
Not as good as another make. Instructions are not clear, says to use half a can, difficult to know even half a can is sprayed out. Gives a indication in seconds for half a can being sprayed out. In that time, then can is emptied. Cable ties are not the best. But as was an emergency, had no choice.
An excellent fast acting product saved me training the system to do a radiator pipework alterations and valve's .
Do what’s they say. Very helpful to relocate the radiator. Don’t need drain the whole system, simple freeze a pipe and do what you want to do.

Make sure there is no water flow in the pipe. And just follow the instructions.
Bought this to freeze a lead mains service pipe underground to help trace a leak. Found it was quite easy to use, however, the can seemed to run out way before the dose time specified in the instructions. Nevertheless, it did the job and the ice plug lasted long enough for me to investigate which side of the pipe was leaking. So in my opinion, money well spent.
Rubbish doesn’t work on 22mm pipe work. Used whole can 😤
This does what it says on the tin.....with the only proviso being that the ice plug does not last as long as stated, but should be sufficient to do most jobs. I key is to remember to leave the area for 5 mins after spraying to let the plug form
Worth every penny, saves the time and the hassle of draining the entire system to cap off a radiator or change a TRV. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly and use ALL of the spray into the jackets, don't think "I'll save some for next time" because you'll probably regret it. (And best if the system is cold to start with!)
Don't waste your money. Followed the directions to letter. Worked for about 3 minutes before water came gushing out of the pipe.
Great way to change tap etc without draining the system, worth the money with time saved.
Does not work. Completely useless, followed instructions but it didn't work.
Bought this to avoid draining the central heating system to make two pipe repairs. This kit worked a treat, made the job a lot easier.
Mixed results sometimes its great, other times it all ends in a very watery mess, which can be very annoying as its not cheap.
Fantastic kit. Used it to renew a mains stopcock. I followed the instructions on a copper pipe. No problems whatsoever. Would definitely buy again.
