So flimsy we took it off as didn’t trust it, couldn’t return as by time we tried to fit the bike mounts it was wrecked so had to take off and buy a new bar system
The clamp design is awful. Returning tomorrow for a refund.

Good value for the money. Easy to cut down to size if you do not want an overhang.
Hard to set clamps correctly, after 10 days the plastic bar coating has cracked and when using ladder clamps, the bars are hard to clamp onto correctly.
Great value, look strong. Easy to fit. Looked like the would not fit on my rails, but they did.
Not too bad for the price but a bit of a fiddle on to fit as the clamp part keeps falling off every time you manoeuvre it until you get it locked on

Excellent value for money. Easy to install and quite robust.
Not even one star really but there was no zero. Rubbish; not properly lockable as claimed, more of a locked wedge-fit at one end of each bar but, as the other end was not lockable, it was dead easy to push the bar off (and quite likely to come off in use as well). Tried on my car raised roof bars but quickly returned to Toolstation for credit, which was promptly given.
Just need to ensure the bars are fitted correctly and are secure. Instructions are not very clear and detailed. My son in law lost one bar from my previous set on the motorway, due not fitting correctly.
However I found them good and strong. As I don’t use roof bars very often, they are a good buy.
No tools required..At All .. which is a bonus, Once you have figured out how to actually install them as no instructions are supplied.. or box or any packaging at that matter, just 2 small clips holding both bars together.. but once I worked out how they afix , I kinda like the no tools needed fit .. also I can't lock them to make them anti theft as there was no keys supplied either .. but I very much doubt anyone is going to steal another's mans roof bars.. and if they do then they are in more need if them than me .. Worth £43 ? . No I don't think so .. but they are fit for purpose.
Would have been better buying a more expensive rack - not very good
Had to send them back, they came looking like they was used and the key was missing so they are rendered useless. Got my refund.
Says Universal but didnt fit a Seat Arona. Was very disappointed
Was finding it difficult getting roof bars to fit my Renault kangoo rails (63 plate ) these are perfect and easy fit, lockable a quality well made product

Tried for hours to get these attached to a Skoda Octavia roof bars. Nope. Not universal. Plastic covers. A definite waste of money for me. Very poor indeed. I am an engineer of 40 years. Buy elsewhere
