Great product as it realy does keep joints together. It is however a little short and may need extra lengths depending on joint length.
Ive been fitting alusplash for a few years now and i highly recommend to span 95% of the joint or the ends can twist out if wall isnt perfectly flat.
Very expensive for what it is and not particularly effective. Supposed to provide an almost seamless join between panels I have found that to be the case in only one join I have made so far. The panels do seem to move on the profile, particularly when you have to move them. This is the first AluSplash installation I have done, and in all likelihood it will be the last. It looks great up on the wall but it has been a nightmare to fit. To be fair, if the missus had decided on this BEFORE I had started putting up the cupboards it would probably have been a lot simpler as I would have put the wall cupboards over the top and run it behind the worktop. Next time, tiles.
Creates a fantastic join that's almost 100% undetectable.
Good price and in stock locally. Does the job well and keeps the 2 pieces together
Nice Touch To My Kitchen Splashback Red!
I Highly Recommend. Thanks
Had 2 Alusplash joins to make across a long wall, 540mm deep, so this was the perfect fit. Had unfortunately bought 2 strips elsewhere which were 450mm deep - I assumed 540mm was the standard and did not spot the smaller size until they arrived. Easy to fit the joining strip but the cuts and the panel mounting need to be absolutely precise for the join to be (almost) invisible as claimed.
I would not make a join without this joining strip. Provides a firm flat joint.
