Product worked fine… when I got it! It’s larger than the existing spark plug but fits ok and does the job.
Ordered on a Thursday afternoon for next day pick up… but I didn’t receive any notification that it was ready for collection. On Saturday I called into Toolstation and the spark plug had actually arrived but, for some reason, no notification had been sent.
I mention this only because a previous reviewer encountered a problem when ordering the same product.
Had issues starting my petrol hedgecutter, noticed the plug was gunky, clleaned it but still starting, running, then cutting out. Ordered a new plug and the machine fired up first time and continued to run. £5.98 saved me from throwing the hedgecutter out
Old petrol mower, didn't know what spark plug to use, tried this now running lovely.
Fitted in qualcast mower it started and is running smoothly so job done.
Last year I purchased a spark plug and it was fine, just what I needed.
However this year what has happened to Toolstation?
It used to be good for Click n Collect and they have most things in stock,
But a simple spark plug No, it has to be ordered for next day or delivery a couple of days later,
(like 4)
When the parcel arrived, No Spark Plug, but instead they picked 2 x 2.5 mm twist drills.
So Toolstation and the management have been able to break a system which worked well and now does not work at all well, much of the stock has been reduced, or simply not available, Click n Collect does not work for many of my purchases, the website has many products Greyed out as not available, when available the prices have been raised … and I was a customer who believed in Toolstation..
I now use a supplier in Preston and also a large national competitor who does provide Click n Collect and stocks most the items I need.
