So you can still get parts to breath new life into old radiators. Well one at a time anyway as that's all the shop stocks. Suppose I could order more but no rush to replace all the others just yet. Probably should just fit new radiators. Reduce reuse recycle and stuff sustainability and all. I've also learned a lot about fitting radiator parts without draining the whole system and balancing the radiators as a result (though this was thanks to those uploading videos to utube. Now just need to buy and add some inhibitor.
Just the job for filling that annoying little hole at the top of a radiator especially if now and again you want an even smaller hole that you can open
Had Radiators from the 70s that had brass vents fitted in the back of the rads these were the perfect replacement i d buy a wide range of vents incase
Had to order it in but came quickly and simple to fit. Recommended
Very poor. After two attempts and a waste of my time and fuel costs. The wrong parts were sent both times ( 1.1/4 instead of 1.1/8 inch) . Obviously picked wrong at the distribution centre. I cancelled and supposedly had a refund which had not yet appeared in my account. Not the fault of the staff at Swinton/Mexborough who tried their best.
Used for radiator bleed done the job great after snapped bleed screw.

Knocked a old fashioned bleed valve off on a cast iron radiator replaced it with this in minutes 👌

Used this to replace existing vent. Note for non-plumbers, the 1/8" size here is the BSP standard in which the size, although stated in inches, is "nominal" and doesn't correspond to any actual measurement nowadays. This BSP 1/8" vent was a perfect replacement for the old valve whose threads outer diameter measured 9.7mm.
