The thread doesn't tighten into the radiator, and needs thread seal such as true blue to make the seal tight.. Otherwise a nice piece of kit.

Air vent - does what it should
Needed a replacement and found this at the best price. A basic design that does the job.

I'd lost the bleed nipple when removing a radiator, this replaced the old one. Tip use a ratchet to remove and insert instead of having to buy more tools
As other reviews I was puzzled why the vent bit leaks even after fastening.
People say it misses oring or so. My DIY aproach was to fold PTFE in half to make it 6mm wide and wrap around the top part generously. PTFE makes good seal, and is resealable.

Bought this to replace a bleed valve in a 1980's radiator. Did the job well.
Fits, but there’s no seal as it has no exterior flange and o-ring.
Now I look to review it, there are suggestions for products with a sealing flange, but they are not in the paper catalogue, so I had to go elsewhere.
