This is a great heat and smoke detector. I like how it has an internal rechargeable battery, so no more 9 volt batteries needed! Please check the expiation date since this unit is only good for 10 years. I bought a few of these and some had expiation dates of 2036 and others had 2033, so some have sat in a warehouse for a while.
If you have to install the included "easi fit base", please note there is very little room for your fingers to wire the detector. However, if you already have an easi base installed (I already had one installed for my 10 year old detector that was replaced), then this new detector is very easy to install.
All good so far. Easy to fit and good instructions.
Expensive but hopefully worth it, easy to install using 3 core cable, very loud
