I used this product to add inhibitor fluid to a new radiator I had installed. It fitted the top entry using the matching screw thread and I was able to charge the new radiator without fuss and no mess involved. I know that this inhibitor is a good product and it is used every year at boiler service time for my heating system.
This product is extremely handy to use. Treats 125 litres or up to 16 single radiators. Hence idea for a small to medium domestic property.
Not great. The fitting on the end of the tube that screws into the rad valve fitting has a very poor connection. You can even see this on their youtube video if you search this product. As soon as the rads are turned back on - water will leak as the seal is so poor. Gave up in the end as couldn't get it working.
Had to give it 5 stars for ease of use, I'm not a plumber but I drained and flushed the system then used the supplied connectors to put this into the system, it was so easy and quick to use. Obviously I won't know how effective it is but time will tell on that one.
Easy to use inhibitor for sealed heating systems, very adaptable for various applications.
Adey said to use this for dosing. Instructions were clear and easy to use. Will be using next year.
Great product, easy to use central heating inhibitor, would use again
Great product easy to use. Good price. Same day click and collect from tool station
Some years ago I asked why didn't someone invent a simple pressure injection device for CH inhibitor. Well they did and I'm glad.
Easy to use and seems very effective. Just make sure all connections are tight before firing into the system.
great and easy to use does what it says on the tin.
Not sure if it was a dud or didn't do what it said on the tin.
Attached via Adey Magnaclean bleed valve as per instructions and couldn't get anything out the bottle.
Squired into bowl (definitely not at much pressure) but was flowing, ended up having to empty out the magnaclean with a sponge (no drain valve on my model) and squirt in, so might as well and got the non rapide version for more product at less cost.
It took more than 30 seconds to empty out the bottle and some left in the application tube which seems wasteful which is why I suspect a dud as some other reviews have mentioned.
I have given 2 stars as the inhibitor itself seems to be working but as for product design of rapide it was awful and not worth paying extra for. If it had worked as expected it would have been great unfortunately it didn't
Good product, reasonably priced, very easy to use.
Screw in the bleed valve hole, squirt, and go. Simple!
Fine, did the job, looked easy to apply and seemed reasonably priced. The trader asked me to get it before he arrived and sent me the link to the product on Toolstation.
