Round and Long. Pretty much as you would expect. I’m cutting them up to make a plant raft and they seem to be working so far. Not afloat yet !

It’s a long black plastic pipe, if that’s not what you want buy something else.

Well finished black plastic down pipe. It fits other fittings from Toolstation perfectly so it’s easy to install. Cut well with the saw without shattering so really good in that respect.

These downpipes are good for domestic properties. I've used them for a one-off water collection system where they had to be almost horizontal, so I used plastic glue to make the joins watertight, which seems to have worked. I'l know in a few years tight if that solution is durable.
pipe is thin and brittle and two pipes broken in pack.
Simple clean lines, easy to install with basic skills / tools.
It's black and pipey and does the job just fine. 1 star lost doe to them always being cracked at the end by the courier so you have to chop a couple of inches off.
I managed to get them in a fiat panda and close the boot....just!
