Sadly the box was broken internally, not easily visible through the packaging. A round trip of 20 miles and 40 minutes did secure a replacement but no apology or acknowledgment of poor stock keeping.
Needed this to connect a 32A replacement cooker, as the original was wired in directly. Perfect for the job.

This was used to connect a 6mm cable to an induction hob cable. It made the instalation a safe and easy solution. There was plenty of room, for the 6mm cable, so I would imagine, it would work just as well, for those who need a junction box to connect a 10mm cable, for example. It is of solid build with solid, quality screws. It's also, great value, at a great price. Highly recommend.

Simple screw terminal junction box, for heavy loads.
Perhaps we've gone overboard on screwless JBs these days, but this chunky beast felt reassuringly robust. I used it to joint a hob to 6mm2 T&E feed. No tabs to break out, no frustrating box to squeeze shut with flimsy ratcheting latches which never really work on any cable approaching it's rated capacity, just simple old-fashioned screws.
